Dropbox is the easiest way to store, sync, and, share files online. There's no complicated interface to learn. Dropbox works seamlessly with your operating system and automatically makes sure your files are up-to-date. Available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
by Felix F.how did we live without dropbox before? get it already!
The installation of dropbox was dead easy. It works on all major operating systems (even on linux). Thats why it was perfectly for collaborating on files across our whole team.
Dropbox will set up a directory on your computer. If you move files over there, they will automatically be uploaded to the dropbox servers. Thats why you will also have access to your dropbox files when you are offline. Dropbox even saves previous versions of your files. So you can get back to a previous version or never have to worry about accidently deleting a file.
You can also share folders within your main dropbox folder with others. So if someone will put files in a shared folder they will instantly distributed onto the computers of all users. Thus it is also a great tool for sending large files.
You can also access your data from your browser or free mobile applications (e.g. for iphone).
You have a huge amount of free space in the free plan (2GB). So still no reason for me to pay for this great service (even though i would).
PricingDropbox is free for 2 GB of space.
Paid plans start at 9.99 USD per month for 50 GB.
